Le B.A.O. is a mutual aid group for visual artists from all backgrounds and art students, with a particular focus on those in their first five years after graduating. The association organizes information workshops and visits schools and institutions to discuss, critique, and demystify the sometimes chaotic professional paths of young artists.
I chose to subvert the codes of bureaucratic aesthetics, reinjecting them into a warm, analog atmosphere to create a singular visual contrast.
As a tribute to the association's history, I redesigned the logotype based on the manicule (the traditional pointing hand symbol). By transforming this historical typographic mark into a contemporary, binary signage system, I created an intuitive navigation tool that visually distinguishes the collective's different levels of formality.
