Parapegma is a collaborative and independent project that combines the creative strength of three artist friends: Joachim (@sticky_food), a culinary design student at the Beaux-Arts; Matteo (@lion_ascendant_connasse), a fashion and costume designer, and myself.
This project was born from the desire to create a photographic series that captures the essence of each month through work on shapes, colors, and materials and that reintroduces the calendar into a cyclical vision of time.
The story told through Parapegma is one of a time that is closer to seasonality, cycles of nature, and human experience of time passing. This object is therefore conceived as a collection of fantastic and natural fables that are told through the universes of dramatic and colorful characters frozen in the ephemeral moments of a threatened seasonality.
